Requisitions are used to request for supplies, materials or services.  They can be submitted by a person (the requester) or an organization (a department).  The requester is the one who submits it.  A requisition may also include information about what was requested such as quantity of items needed, cost per item, etc.  It will usually have some sort of reference number that identifies the document so you know which requisition it relates to.
